SURGE PROTECTORS THAT WILL NOT FAIL!

Zero Surge Protector
(Series Mode)
  • Will not fail
  • Does not degrade with each surge
  • No MOV's (Metal Oxide Varistors)
  • Rated 1000 surges @6000volts, 3000 amps
  • Does not divert surge to ground

  • Suppresses surge current
  • Certified to highest U S Government standards
  • 10 year warranty

Traditional Surge Protector
(Shunt Mode)
  • Will fail and can cause fires
  • Degrades with each surge

  • Uses MOV's
  • Rated 10 surges at 1000 amps

  • Diverts surge to ground harming other connected equipment
  • Does not suppress surge current
  • Can not come close

  • Should be replaced within two years

The conventional surge protector on the right can cause you a lot of harm endangering your electronic equipment, possibly setting a fire to your home or business.

Conventional surge protectors start to diminish as soon as they are put into use. When a conventional surge suppressor fails (and they all will fail eventually -- read their disclaimers) they either:

  • Leave the current flowing without surge protection for the next surge or
  • shut off the current.

When failure is not an option, select a surge suppressor that will not fail and is not only UL Listed for safety but also certified for endurance and performance -- something most manufacturers will not do, knowing their products will fail. Zero Surge products are certified to withstand at least 10 years of the worst case power line surges. Zero Surge now approaching their 17th year and still no failures nor degradation due to surge related issues.

Zero Surge Filters carry the highest government rating 1000 surges at 6000 volts and 3000 amps. Protect that $1500 computer, $4000 Plasma TV, expensive HDTV, Home theater system, and satellite receivers with the best, Zero Surge. As an added bonus, the Zero Surge technology removes the power line noise that can degrade audio/video signals. Don’t wait for your equipment to suffer damage before investing in series mode surge protection.

POINT OF USE, TRADITIONAL SURGE PROTECTORS, SHUNT THE SURGE TO GROUND AT THE COMPUTER, WHERE IT LEAPS ACROSS SERIAL PORTS, NETWORK CONNECTIONS, ETC. DOING ITS DEADLY WORK.

Interconnected (networked) systems share common power and data lines form circuits between themselves via the ground wire (both referenced at the load). A power line surge diverted to the ground wire will make its way to the chassis, through the motherboard onto and through the data lines because the power line ground is used as a voltage reference and therefore is also connected at the motherboard and to the data ports of the rest of the connected system. This is where most data line surges originate.

Problems when you are using standby generators and your MOV type suppressors:

Standby generators used in critical applications can experience brief voltage overshoot during start up, load changes, and with contaminated fuel. Voltage overshoot will stress fixed clamping level (MOV Type) suppressors, leading to premature and unpredictable failure.

Zero Surge filters use Spectrum Wide Voltage Range Technology effectively functions from 85 volts all the way to 265 volts and anywhere in between.
