Rules
Bridgehaven is a S.A.F.E. place where Christians aid displaced Pike Countians with a place to stay and assist them in the process of re-establishing their own lives. Click here to read our rules.
S = Support
Residents are given a place to stay while they obtain financial support and find permanent housing. Weekly house meetings are held to discuss household issues. Residents plan nutritional meals with Sherry Williams, Ohio State Extension Office. Residents receive assessments from the Recovery Council or Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health to address their personal issues. Job assessments are performed by Work Force Development at Community Action for residents seeking employment.
A = Advocacy
The staff works in partnership with other community agencies to provide information on housing, health care, employment, education opportunities, substance abuse and mental health counseling, and other available resources. The Outreach Council is a member of the Coalition on Housing and Homelessness in Ohio as well as a founding member of ARCH - Ohio (A 13 county coalition on rural homelessness.)

We offer hope for the future while providing assistance with the present. The staff encourages residents to make success-building choices. Educational, personal growth, self-esteem, and employment opportunities are explored.
